"We all knew that during those years, Princeton's visual arts program was special, smart and creative; our proximity with the exploding NYC art scene was a key factor."

I stopped "serious" photography around 1981 but have maintained a close interest in the visual arts.  At the beginning of the pandemic I set aside my iPhone and started using the Nikon D850.  Since June 2020, I have taken about 10 online photography courses, both software classes as well as shooting. The flowers on water was a class assignment to shoot while staying Covid safe.

The print is the thing.  My primary goal then and now was to produce physical photographic prints, not digital images for web posting.  My focus on fine art printing was a result of studying with Emmet Gowin, a master printer to be sure.
